The Rotaract Club of Lucena South was recognized with the Platinum Distinction, the highest recognition conferred upon an Exemplary Rotaract Club by the Pilipinas Rotaract Multi-District Information Organization (MDIO), during the GEAR Awards Night held in General Santos City.

The award recognizes the club's accomplishments throughout Rotary Year 2025–2026, highlighting its commitment to community service through projects and partnerships focused on education, maternal and child health, disease prevention, and collaborative outreach initiatives.

In addition to the Platinum Distinction, the club, under the leadership of President Luigi G. Oblena, received several project and public image awards:
- Champion – Most Exemplary Collaborative Project for Give a Hand
- Champion – Most Exemplary Maternal and Child Health Project for Project Cervixyo
- Finalist – Most Exemplary Education and Literacy Project for Proyektong ARAL
- Finalist – Most Exemplary Disease Prevention Project for SMART Organic Farming
- Finalist – ExperienceRotaractPH Campaign
- Silver Seal – Regional Public Image Committee (Rotary Zone 10-A)

The awards also recognized individual achievement, with Past President and District Rotaract Representative Nominee Adrian D. Sto. Domingo receiving the Highest Distinction for his service as Deputy Chief of Learning and Development of the Pilipinas Rotaract MDIO.
The recognitions reflect the collective efforts of the club's members, partners, and volunteers throughout the Rotary year and underscore the impact of sustained service, leadership, and collaboration in advancing Rotary's mission of creating positive change in communities.
