The Rotaract Club of Lucena South, in partnership with the Rotary Club of Lucena South, joined forces with the Local Government Unit of Lucena Public Employment Service Office (LGU-Lucena PESO), headed by Maria Carmina R. Nacorda, for the Summer Job Fair 2026 held at the 3rd Floor Event Center of SM City Lucena in Ibabang Dupay, Lucena City.

Organized to expand access to employment opportunities, the job fair strengthened collaboration among the local government, private sector, and community organizations while providing job seekers with direct access to employers and essential government services. The initiative also supported aspiring professionals and unemployed individuals in their pursuit of meaningful careers.

The event drew thousands of applicants, with 20 participating companies offering a total of 2,121 job vacancies, including opportunities from 16 local and 4 overseas employers. The job fair also recorded 115 on-site hires, reflecting its immediate impact in connecting applicants with potential employers.

In addition to recruitment activities, government agencies including the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG Fund provided employment-related assistance and services to applicants throughout the event.

The initiative reflects Rotary's Economic and Community Development Area of Focus by promoting productive employment opportunities and supporting efforts that contribute to stronger and more resilient communities.

The organizers acknowledged the support of LGU-Lucena PESO, Maria Carmina R. Nacorda, the Rotary Club of Lucena South, SM City Lucena, participating employers, government agencies, volunteers, and partners whose collaboration contributed to the success of the event.
