Rotaractors from across Southern Luzon gathered in Barangay Patabog, Mulanay, Quezon, for Pagdaong Year 3, a collaborative initiative that brought together the Rotaract Clubs of Lucena Circle, Lucena Generation Alpha, Lucena South, Padre Garcia, Santa Rosa South, Metro Sorsogon, Tanauan, Naga, Victoria, and Nuvali to carry out community projects under Rotary's Seven Areas of Focus.
Each club led a project addressing a specific community need. Under Economic and Community Development, the Rotaract Club of Lucena South implemented Project RISE+, which equipped local farmers and fisherfolk with discussions on financial awareness, insurance, resilience, and sustainable livelihood opportunities. As part of the initiative, 14 farmers and fisherfolk completed orientation and application for the Accident and Dismemberment Security Scheme, providing them with added financial protection and awareness.
Other participating clubs conducted projects on Peacebuilding and Conflict Prevention (Rotaract Club of Naga), Disease Prevention and Treatment (Rotaract Club of Padre Garcia), Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (Rotaract Club of Victoria), Maternal and Child Health (Rotaract Club of Santa Rosa South), Basic Education and Literacy (Rotaract Clubs of Lucena Generation Alpha and Lucena Circle), and Supporting the Environment (Rotaract Club of Tanauan).
Beyond community service, Pagdaong Year 3 also emphasized fellowship among participating clubs. Beginning on the evening of April 25 and continuing through April 26, Rotaractors shared time together before culminating the event with a fellowship trip to Alibijaban Island in San Andres, Quezon. The activity provided an opportunity for members to strengthen friendships, exchange experiences, and build relationships that support future collaborative service projects.
By combining meaningful community initiatives with fellowship, Pagdaong Year 3 reinforced the value of partnership, leadership, and service, demonstrating how strong connections among Rotaractors can further enhance their collective impact in the communities they serve.
