Young leaders from various organizations gathered at Nawawalang Paraiso Resort and Hotel in Tayabas City, Quezon, for the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) 2026: Unite for Good, Youth Changemaker Summit, a two-day leadership development program that encouraged participants to strengthen their skills and deepen their commitment to community service.

Among those in attendance were members of the Rotaract Club of Lucena South, who joined fellow youth leaders in leadership training sessions, team-building activities, and interactive discussions designed to promote collaboration, communication, and civic engagement.

The summit aimed to develop participants into active changemakers by equipping them with practical leadership skills and fostering a greater understanding of service. Throughout the program, attendees explored ways to identify community needs, work effectively with others, and contribute to positive social change.

One of the featured speakers, CP John Miguel Aramis Bermido, led a session on identifying and addressing community concerns through his presentation, "IMPACT." Meanwhile, PP Irvin M. Alcala discussed problem-solving and peacebuilding, emphasizing the importance of collective responsibility with the message, "The secret to peace is us."

The summit was headed by Past President Giovanni J. Angara, whose leadership helped bring together young leaders for a shared learning experience focused on compassion, collaboration, and purposeful leadership.

As the program concluded, participants left with new knowledge, strengthened connections, and a renewed commitment to serving their communities. Organizers also acknowledged the contributions of the speakers, volunteers, partners, and participants whose support helped make the summit possible.

By bringing together youth leaders from different organizations, RYLA 2026: Unite for Good reinforced the value of leadership rooted in service and demonstrated how collaboration can inspire meaningful action in communities.
