A day of learning, planning, and fellowship brought together officers, members, and aspiring Rotaractors of the Rotaract Club of Lucena South during its Club Orientation, Assembly, Training, and Summer Bonding (COATS) 2026 at Don Fernando's Casa de Familia in Barangay Ilayang Iyam, Lucena City.

Designed to prepare the organization for the upcoming Rotary Year 2026–2027, COATS 2026 served as an opportunity for participants to strengthen their understanding of Rotaract, align the club's goals, and reinforce their commitment to community service and leadership.

The program featured educational sessions led by experienced Rotaractors. Immediate Past President Rhenz J. Caballero discussed the fundamentals of the organization through "Rotaract 101: Foundation of Service and Leadership," while Past President Giovanni J. Angara shared insights on leadership, encouraging members to lead with purpose and remain committed to service.

Participants also reviewed the club's proposed plans, programs, and activities for Rotary Year 2026–2027. Additional discussions covered the club's constitution and by-laws, as well as an overview of the Secretary's responsibilities and report, providing members with a clearer understanding of the organization's operations and governance.

Beyond the training sessions, the gathering also served as a venue for members to build stronger relationships through fellowship, fostering collaboration as they prepare for the year ahead.

With its focus on orientation, leadership development, and organizational planning, COATS 2026 reinforced the Rotaract Club of Lucena South's commitment to developing informed and engaged members ready to carry out service initiatives in their communities throughout the coming Rotary Year.
