On July 5, 2025, Rotaract District 3820 came together at Avenue Plaza Hotel – The Tent for HAPAG: Honoring Ancestral Plates and Gastronomy—a cultural exchange that brought clubs closer through the stories and flavors of local delicacies.
Hosted by the Rotaract Club of Pakil Baybay Premier, the event featured short presentations from participating clubs, each showcasing a dish from their respective communities. From Sorsogon’s sweet Molido to Gumaca’s traditional Tikoy sa Anahaw—each plate told a story of identity and place.

After all presentations, the event culminated in Hapag Kainan, a shared table where everyone tasted and exchanged each other’s delicacies—turning food into fellowship.
HAPAG 2025 reminded us that heritage lives not just in monuments or archives, but in kitchens, conversations, and the meals we share.
