On June 7, 2025, the Rotaract Club of Lucena South successfully held Project SEKYU Year 7, an annual outreach effort dedicated to recognizing the hard work and dedication of night shift security guards and barangay tanods across Lucena City.

Now on its seventh year, Project SEKYU continues to serve as a meaningful way to give thanks to our community’s unsung heroes. Over 100 night shift personnel received care kits and were served warm lugaw, showing that even small gestures can go a long way in acknowledging the vital role they play in keeping our neighborhoods safe.

This year’s success wouldn’t have been possible without the generous support of Kons Patrick Nadera and New Jiandra Enterprises.

Together, we continue to uplift those who keep watch while the city sleeps.
