Project E(leksyon): Rotaract Clubs Lead Voter Education Campaign in Tayabas

In the lead-up to the national elections, the Rotaract Club of Lucena South and Rotaract Club of Lucena Circle launched Project E(leksyon): A Crash Course in Good Governance, a voter education campaign held at Southern Luzon State University – Tayabas Campus.

The event’s highlight was a powerful talk by Cathyrene Peñaflorida, who tackled the core of responsible citizenship through her lecture "E(leksyon): A Crash Course in Good Governance." She emphasized the long-term impact of informed voting and the power young people hold in shaping the country’s future.

With elections just around the corner, the campaign aimed to equip first-time and young voters with the knowledge they need to make informed, values-based decisions at the polls. Students learned about how to identify credible candidates, understand key issues, and recognize the value of each vote in upholding democracy.

By bringing civic education straight to the youth, the project encouraged participants to move beyond mere registration—to become truly engaged, responsible citizens.
