The Rotaract Club of Lucena South has been honored with the Platinum Distinction, the highest recognition given to an Exemplary Rotaract Club in the Philippines by the Pilipinas Rotaract Multi-District Information Organization (MDIO).

Achieving over 501 points throughout Rotary Year 2024–2025, the club demonstrated outstanding performance through impactful community service projects and consistent engagement in MDIO-led initiatives. This achievement places Lucena South among the top-performing Rotaract clubs in the country.

In addition to this major award, the club also received:

• Two Bronze Certificates for its participation in Rotaract Insight: Capturing Action and Passion, a national-level event showcasing club achievements and advocacies.
• Recognition for five community service projects as national finalists in the categories of Execution, Excellence, and Impact on Communities. These projects include:
  • Smart Organic Farming
  • United for Bicol
  • Project Learning Space
  • Project Comfy
  • Thousand Trees of Hope

Furthermore, Past Presidents Adrian D. Sto. Domingo and Paul Armhel Escobar, along with current President Luigi Oblena, were awarded the Meritorious Service Award for their service as officers of the Pilipinas Rotaract MDIO.

The recognition was given during the prestigious GEAR (Groundbreaking and Exemplary Accomplishments of Rotaractors) Awards Night held in Pililla, Rizal on June 28, 2025.

This milestone reinforces the club’s commitment to service, impact, and innovation in line with the Rotary motto: Fellowship Through Service.
