Lucena in Color: A Pride March for Love, Life, and Liberation

On June 27, 2025, the streets of Ibabang Dupay, Lucena City came alive with vibrant flags, powerful messages, and a shared commitment to equality during the Pride March 2025, organized by Kaya Natin Youth–Lucena.

With the theme “Lucena in Color: Celebrating Love, Life, and Liberation,” the event brought together individuals, advocates, and organizations in a moving display of solidarity, inclusivity, and LGBTQIA+ pride. Marchers stood united in their message: discrimination has no place in a society rooted in compassion and justice.

The Rotaract Club of Lucena South proudly supported the event by providing 500 bottles of water to participants—ensuring that everyone stayed refreshed and cared for during the powerful display of unity.

The successful Pride March marked a meaningful step forward for the city, reinforcing the message that Lucena stands for diversity, acceptance, and love in all forms. It was a day to celebrate not just identity, but the progress of a community continuing to rise together.
