President Karen Montero Presents Year-End Highlights of Rotaract Lucena South’s Impactful Service Projects

During the district's celebration of the accomplishments of all Rotaract clubs in RID 3820, President Karen Jane Montero presented the flagship projects of the Rotaract Club of Lucena South.

Her presentation focused on the club's community service initiatives that have positively impacted their target beneficiaries. President Karen shared that Project LS (Learning Space) is her favorite initiative. This project facilitated the relocation of students to a concrete classroom, which enabled them to interact with their teachers in a more conducive learning environment and made the number of novice learners go down to zero.

Additionally, President Karen highlighted several other key contributions, including the donation of a human milk bank to Quezon Memorial Center, the creation of handwashing and washroom facilities, and the ongoing feeding program for malnourished students at Malao-a/Calantas Elementary School.

The panelists commended her for creating opportunities that leave a lasting impact, from conducting community assessments to performing post-evaluations.
